New Moon Intention
Leaders come in all forms.
From corporate and community to political, cultural, and familial, those who take up the mantle of leadership all have one thing in common; they have a body.
Over the past ten years, I’ve worked with hundreds of leaders through a one-on-one process I call INSIGHT.
The work is founded on the principle that individuals who take the time to see, know, and understand themselves holistically, can lead from a place of greater empathy, authenticity, and understanding of the world around them.
This intrinsic connection inevitably fosters clearer perception and better decision-making. It also generates greater personal fulfillment.

One of the first things we do in the INSIGHT process is to identify four manifestations of intelligence:
Physical
Mental
Emotional
Spiritual
What often surprises folks is the idea that a leader is an expression of physical intelligence.
In other words, leadership is a physical embodiment.
Research shows that 93% of communication is based on body language. How we hold our shoulders, the changing expressions on our faces, our eyes, and our hand gestures tell the story of what is alive within us.
When an individual enters a room, what they communicate starts long before they speak.

According to yogic thought, all body language is a manifestation of the mind. Conscious, subconscious, and unconscious thoughts all surface somewhere in the body.
The body and mind are not two separate objects but one interwoven template that expresses what is alive in the matrix of our psyche.
And what fuels that matrix?
The light of consciousness.
Access and lead from this light and everything is possible.

On this new moon, stay aware that the body and mind are one.
Notice what your body language reveals about your state of mind.
Open to that awareness and see what shifts.
All the while, consider that the light of your being is driving all this in the first place.
Serve that light.
Shine that light.
